In the modern times, hospitals have taken a more bureaucratic and administrative approach, with clear divisions of roles of both medical and administrative staff. Over time, advancements have been made in the medical field and technologies and consequently, hospitals have become more advanced and able to attend to numerous health conditions in more effective ways than early hospitals did.With more advanced medical technologies comes the need to for more advanced medical practitioners able to effectively render services in the medical facilities. It is therefore important to doctors to actively train in new technologies and expand their skills to effectively match the expanding technological advancements in the medical field and therefore offer the best medical care to patients (McClellan and Dorn 103).Opening a medical college requires a clear understanding of the medical field and the changes in the medical t echnologies therein, to offer relevant medical education to students.
